BT and Unisys adopt Jaspersoft to support Voicemail

October 2, 2017

UK telco BT and Unisys, a worldwide information technology company which manages BT’s voicemail services, have implemented a Business Intelligence Suite from Jaspersoft, to support their Statistical Data Warehouse (SDW).

The SDW, which was built using Jaspersoft, improves customer service for voicemail subscribers.

It allows issues to be addressed more quickly and reduces the time associated with ad hoc information requests.

BT has expanded the SDW to include analytics for its Text and Managed SMS services, as well as Voicemail, bringing messaging analytics together which improves the efficiency of information provision.

Brian Gentile, CEO of Jaspersoft said: “BT’s implementation of Jaspersoft is representative of leading companies around the world are adopting open source software to meet their business and technology needs”.

Jaspersoft recently announced the addition of Flash-enabled mapping, charting and visualisation capabilities to its reporting engine.
